More than 100,000 people from over 200 countries will attend the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain this week.

The world’s largest mobile industry event, MWC Barcelona will see speakers and exhibitors from a range of industry giants and upcomers alike, touting their latest products and technologies.

Sponsored by Hauwei, the event runs from Monday 25th to Thursday 28th.

Artificial intelligence (AI), 5G and foldable phones will feature by companies such as Huawei, Nokia, LG, Oppo, Xiaomi and Sony.

Featured themes are 5G, AI, Industry 4.0 (cloud, cognitive computing), Immersive Content (virtual reality, augmented reality), Disruptive Innovation, Digital Wellness, Digital Trust, and The Future, a look into technology’s next 10 years and beyond.

Keynote speakers include Google’s AI division lead Jeff Dean, Huawei’s Rotating Chairman Guo Ping, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Telstra CEO Andrew Penn, and Vodafone Group CEO Nick Read.

Attendees will get the unique chance to interact with exciting new and upcoming products such as some of the first commercially available 5G smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S10 and its foldable counterpart the Galaxy Fold, and AR/VR devices.
